Threading is a natural method of hair removal which has become extremely popular due to growing demand from clients. It is a simple, inexpensive and an efficient way of removing unwanted hair with minimal pain and skin irritation. Cotton thread is used to remove individual hairs from the root, leaving excellent results with approximate regrowth between 2-4 weeks. Very short hair can be removed and there is little irritation to the area making it possible to go over the area more than once. Hair can be removed individually or in 'lines' for speed and can be removed from both above and below the brow giving the threaded eyebrow its clean neatly groomed appearance. Threading is also a sutiable treatment for individuals that have undergone strong acne treatments e.g. roaccutane, retin A.
A certificate in threading is awarded upon completion of the full 2 day workshop and successful practical assessment on the final day of the course. This course is accredited by BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) which allows you to obtain public liability insurance. For continuing professional development this course carries 22 CPD credits.
