Pedicures are extremely popular and profitable salon treatments with clients returning on a monthly basis for maintenance treatments. Pedicures are not just a pampering treatment although they are sheer bliss to receive a pedicure is a perfect way to maintain the health and well-being of our feet whilst improving the cosmetic appearance of the feet and nails. 

Upon successful completion of this course you will have acquired the skills to perform Pedicure essentials; nail shaping, cuticle work, foot and leg massage, nail painting, plus delux pedicure including exfoliation, hard skin removal and warm paraffin wax mask to an exceptional standard of proficiency. You will also have a knowledge of the nail anatomy, nail disorders and contra-indications in order carryout pedicure treatments safely and efficiently.  


No previous experience or existing qualification required.


You will gain a highly recognised accredited diploma upon successful completion of the course. This course is accredited by BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) which allows you to obtain public liability insurance to work in salons and spas in the UK and overseas. For continuing professional development this course carries 22 CPD credits.

Course information

Pedicure training involves 1 day,  then home practice and completion of 4 case studies.  Students are required to work on each other for the duration of the course, therefore in preparation students must remove any acrylic or gel nail polish prior to the course.

Assessment information

The course consists of theory and practical, students competence and confidence will improve over time, with regular practice to perfect the skills taught on the day. Students will need to provide a model for the practice session on the training day.  Certificates will be awarded to candidates on presentation of 4 case studies and successful completion of practical assessment. Case studies must include, client consultation and photographs of before and after application of pedicure treatment.
