Bronwyn Conroy

Bronwyn Conroy, founder of The Irish Beauty Professionals Association and the Principal of Ireland's first International Beauty School, has been Ireland’s leading beauty consultant, lecturer, writer and teacher for over thirty years. Her school opened on the 1st of March 1972 and has been synonymous with excellence in beauty therapy training ever since.

In 1972 external beauty therapy examinations were not available in Ireland. To fill this void Bronwyn Conroy introduced the ITEC, CIBTAC and CIDESCO certified examinations to Ireland. This had the dual effect of raising standards in the beauty industry in this country and giving those who achieved certification the freedom to practice overseas. Today Bronwyn's daughters, Sherna and Bronwyn, continue to run the school to the same standards that over the years have trained many leading beauty therapy professionals.

Geraldine McGuigan

Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School (NI) opened in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1996. The school and students are under the care and direction of the principal Geraldine McGuigan CIDESCO CIBTAC. Ms McGuigan has worked in the beauty industry for over 25 years as both a beauty therapist and tutor and continues to supervise the day to day running of her own beauty salon.

Geraldine McGuigan has been an examiner for CIDESCO International since 2005 and is committed to excellence, with emphasis on maintaining the highest professional standards of training, within the beauty therapy industry.
