Yes, once qualified you will be able to gain public liability insurance from both BABTAC and AIT, which you will require if working as a Beauty Therapist.

What are the accepted methods of payment for a course?

The school offers private beauty therapy training. All courses require a deposit to secure a place, and a subsequent payment is due, prior to or on the course start date and may be made by any of the following methods below:

Overseas Students

Can you apply for the course if you are an overseas student?

We are unable at present to enrol applicants outside of the E.U who require a visa from the UKBA (UK Border Agency).

What is the school's policy on refunds and early withdrawal from a course?

The College's policy is that all tuition fees are paid in full and are not refundable once a place has been taken on a course.

Travel

What trains and buses service the Antrim Road area?

Buses

Metro 1A - 1G travels from Belfast City Hall (Donegall Square West) servicing all of the Antrim Road on a very regular timetable.

Metro 61 travels from Belfast City Hall (Wellington Place) servicing the Cavehill Road via the Antrim Road.

Trains

The nearest train station is Yorkgate NIR.

* Metro 1D travels along North Queen Street, then Duncairn Gardens to the Antrim Road.
* Metro 61 travels along York Street, then Limestone Road to the Antrim Road.

Is there parking available?

Yes, students may avail of free street parking in the antrim road vacincty.

Is there are restrictions on parking in the Antrim Road area?

Yes the main antrim road operates a designated urban clearway that prevents vehicles from parking at peak times as follows

Monday - Friday 

7.00 a.m. - 9.30 a.m.  

3.30 p.m. - 6.00 p.m.

Vehicles are permitted to stop only as long as necessary to pick up or set down passengers.
